Colorstormx Art
[Digital Art | Drawing | Painting]
About Colorstormx
Hey! I go by either Color or Storm. I am a 22 year old nonbinary lesbian (she/her or they/them), and I recently graduated with a degree in Studio art (concentration in drawing and painting). I have also been working with digital art since I was 11 and greatly enjoy it. I am currently offering digital art commissions, and I hope to offer physical drawings and paintings for sale in the future.
As an artist, a large part of who I am can be seen in what I draw. Some of my favorite subjects are cats and plants, although I do like to have variety in my art. In my digital art especially, I love to use saturated lighting, bold lines, and fine details. Linework is often one of my favorite parts of making a piece, and I put a lot of care into it, no matter what style or method I'm using.
If you'd like to get in touch with me, you can always send an email to [email protected] or message me on one of these sites:
Commissions
I am currently taking digital art commissions. The link to my order form can be found below, but please be sure to read through my terms of service before placing a request.
If you're interested in a physical piece (traditional drawing, painting, etc), please email me. I don't have set prices for those yet, but I'm willing to work with you!
Terms of Service
Thank you for your interest in my art! These rules are in place to help keep things clear when working with commissions.
Work will not be started until payment is received. I am willing to discuss partial payments (half upfront, etc) - just ask when I confirm your commission details via email. Do not send payment until you have received the confirmation email. I accept payment through PayPal, Venmo, CashApp, and Ko-fi. All payment is in USD.
Refunds will only be issued for incomplete work. Full refunds are only available if I have not started the commission, and partial refunds will be equivalent to the work not yet completed. (ex: if you request a refund for a colored piece but I've already finished the line art, then the refund you receive will be the difference in cost between a colored piece and a line art piece.) If I am personally unable to finish your commission, I will issue a full refund.
Works In Progress will be sent as I complete each milestone in a piece. (thumbnail/sketch, line art, coloring, shading). I will wait for confirmation to continue working on the piece. These WIP stages are your chance to request major changes to the piece - if you want a different pose, let me know on the sketch stage, if you want adjusted colors, let me know on the coloring stage, etc. You are free to opt out of these updates, but I will still not make major changes to a finished piece.
Only minor revisions will be allowed on a finished piece, and I will not provide refunds on a finished piece for "unsatisfactory" work. This is what the WIP confirmations are for: if you have a problem, you will have a chance to let me know before it's finished.
All pieces that I draw will have my signature on them. I can make it small and unobtrusive, but I will not remove it completely. You are not allowed to crop it out. As long as you credit me, you are allowed to use your commission however you'd like. However, this excludes reselling my art - trading it with characters is fine, but you may not sell it for more than you paid me for it.
My prices may be subject to change. However, this will not apply retroactively - if I raise prices after you’ve placed your commission order, you will not have to pay the adjusted price, only the originally agreed upon one.
I require visual references. I will accept traditionally drawn reference sheets as long as the character's design is clear. If you do not have visual references, contact me before submitting a request.
Prices may be raised for complex character designs. Feel free to message me ahead of time to see if what you have in mind will impact pricing.
I will not tolerate rude or impatient messages.
I reserve the right to refuse a commission for any reason.
